Anonymous visitors to your SupportWire widget now correctly record location and device context again: country, city, IP, browser, language, timezone, and OS.

A recent change skipped attribute updates when the host page passed no userData. Most first-time visitors are anonymous, so that guard quietly dropped the Cloudflare geo headers and client-side device signals. No PUT meant no geo, and the customer profile stayed blank until they identified themselves.

We removed the early return. Once the widget has a token, attributes are pushed (and still deduped per widget), so every visitor — identified or not — lands with the context your agents and automations already expect.

Your team gets the full picture on the first message. No more guessing timezone or device when an anonymous customer starts a conversation.
